Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry provides support for incarcerated adults and youth, transitional care for those who are exiting incarceration and re-entering society, and care for children of the incarcerated. They have two transitional homes on their campus, one for men and one for women, that provides a supportive and caring home for those who are transitioning out of incarceration by providing housing, job training, counseling, addiction support, life-skills, and so much more.
Be a mentor, teach a class on what you are passionate about (budgeting, resume writing, computer skills, or whatever you want to offer!), volunteer in children's programming. If you have heart for those who have been impacted by incarceration, TPOM has a place for you. Contact for information on their next volunteer training session.
