James B. Angus, Jr.
Community Life Minister
Dr. Angus has been ministering for over 18 years in Churches of Christ in Middle Tennessee. He has presented papers at Vanderbilt University School of Divinity, taught and presented lectures at Lipscomb University’s Summer Celebration in recent years, and most recently at Harbor: Pepperdine Bible Lectures. He has taught freshman Bible courses at Lipscomb University as an Adjunct Bible professor, and completed his doctoral work in pastoral community counseling at Argosy University in 2016. J.B. believes strongly that the education of the people of God is the cornerstone to helping build a good relationship with God and he is passionate about helping people develop spiritually in Christ. He is married to Melody and they have three beautiful children: Brody, Jameson, and Alora.
