Steve and Madalena (Magda) Luna de Sherman met and married in Guatemala and will celebrate 43 years of marriage this coming October. They have three married daughters and seven grandchildren all living in Nashville. Steve’s association with Otter Creek started 41 years ago when Otter Creek began supporting his family as a missionary to Belize until 2001. From 2001 to 2022, he held the position of Foreign Missions Minister while also working as the Missionary in Residence in the College of Bible at Lipscomb. In March of 2022, Steve retired from his ministry position at Otter Creek. He continues to work three days a week at Lipscomb as the Director of the Peugeot Center for Engineering Services to Developing Communities. One of the things Steve loves and respects about Otter Creek is the willingness to work and walk beside members through the mess and chaos we have as individuals, families, and as a community.
