- What is something you seek deliverance from?
- Discuss a time you have been delivered from temptation.
- How do you understand the phrase “Evil one”?
- Describe what you understand deliverance from the evil one to be. Is it deliverance from “Test” or “Temptation”?
Prayer: God we come to you our arms wide open, hands and heart empty awaiting your fulfillment. We receive you, your son, and spirit, we receive your grace and replicate its giving to others. Praying they receive also that which you have freely given. Provide us strength to receive, O God. Correct our crooked posture and lead us in your ways and keep us from the temptations of this life. Deliver us from the one all evil derives and keep us on your way. Provide for us this day what we need to get by in your son’s Holy name, Amen!
