Our History

"Missional living" is a Christian term that describes a missionary lifestyle; adopting the posture, thinking, behaviors, and practices of a missionary in order to engage others with the gospel message. Contrast the concept of a select group of "professional" missionaries with the understanding that all Christians are involved in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

The Otter Creek church is known for incubating outreach efforts for mission points in local communities, in Nashville, in Tennessee, the Southeast, nationally, and internationally to diverse people groups.

The common thread is introducing the light of Christ into dark places of this present world - whether it be touching an individual heart, or a group of people.
