- If you won $1M in the lottery, what would you do?
- Read Luke 19:1-10. How do you think this interaction shaped Zacchaeus? How do you think the people who witnessed this interaction were affected?
- If money is the root of all evil, is money inherently evil? How can the pursuit of money cause us to lose our way in this Kingdom journey?
- Do you feel like the pursuit of money has ever been a distraction from the Kingdom of God for you? How so?
- If you had a windfall of money, would the Kingdom of God be better off?
- Being a disciple of Jesus is about growing as a human. How do you practice growing in generosity?
- Do you give to Kingdom efforts out of obligation or because the mission of God is benefitted by money? Do you give financially because it is commanded in scripture or because your own heart is at stake to not be overcome by greed?
- Do you feel like you live with a scarcity or abundance mindset? If you lost your physical possessions would you still feel confident in God’s love?
- Pray that we would have generous hearts in the Kingdom.
