The Digital Side-Hug: Dr. Morris Gregwire/Stephen Jerkins (Conversation With A Creative Genius)

August 17, 2014 | David Rubio
Author of the book “Asking Can Be Fun” and good friend to The Digital Side-Hug, Dr. Morris Gregwire (and his son) drop by to say hello.  David calls an audible and asks Dr. Gregwire to do the “Blitzkrieg” honors.  Morris tries out some of his questions for the very first time & Rubio’s composure is under siege from the off.  Afterward, another contributor to the podcast - photographer & musician Stephen Jerkins - joins the podcast to talk about his role on the “Podcast Naming Brainstorm Committee” as well as the (mostly) ups and (rare, early) downs of volunteering with Rubio’s youth group in Brentwood, TN.  Finally, after a retelling of one of the great youth group memories of all-time, Stephen, Rubio AND Gregwire collaborate on a post-script acappella recording of a Alexander/Jerkins/Levitating Hand original: “Mene Mene Tekel Parsin”.
