Do you want to make a difference in the life of a child? We know how you can... Be a Wayne Reed Lunch buddy!! Our Lunch Buddy Program connects a caring, committed professional adult with our childcare center classrooms at the Wayne Reed Christian Childcare Center.
The children of WRCCC are in need of a positive role model, friend, and support system in their lives. Being a part of the program is simple & it only takes 1 hour once a month. All you have to do is pick a time that you will be available once a month; remember commitment and consistently to your buddies is very important!
The younger children (ages1-2) eat from 10:45-11:30. The older children(ages3-4) eat from 11-noon.
If you are interested please contact Trisha Simpson at for more information.
Also, if you are making a donation to United Way, you can designate the Wayne Reed Center on your United Way donation. The organization number is #2555.
Mark your calendars for the 2017 Red Cross Blood Drives at OC: April 30, July 23, & October 15. Give blood and help someone in need!
